“Bonus shop” style pages — paying to unlock add-ons: ever worth it?

I came across a “shop” style section on an online platform where you can pay to unlock extra add-ons and quick features.

I’m not automatically against it, but it can feel like you’re paying just to skip steps, and sometimes the details aren’t obvious up front.

If you’ve seen these add-on shops before, what questions do you ask to decide if it’s actually clear, optional, and not a hassle?

I start with transparency: does it clearly say what you’re getting, how long it lasts, and whether there are any limits? A page like bonus shop is the kind of place I’d skim just to see if the explanations are plain and readable.
